B.I.T.E. Mosquitoes Program
Building Infrastructure to Eliminate (B.I.T.E) Mosquitoes Program
The B.I.T.E. Mosquitoes Porgram is a resource available to cities to be used as a guiding tool when prioritizing infrastructure repairs that could improve public health by minimizing vector sources. The program is aimed at strengthening the partnership between San Gabriel Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District and the cities it serves through shared resources and information.
By working collaboratively to identify infrastructure issues contributing to mosquito breeding, these problematic sources can be prioritized to reduce inspections, treatments, and public health risks associated with mosquito-borne diseases.
