In addition to our school outreach, SGVMVCD participates in fairs and can provide interactive presentations. Our presentations and booths are at no extra cost to organizations in our jurisdiction in San Gabriel Valley.

1. Mosquito 101 Presentations:
* Perfect for Organizations, Cities, and Agencies *
Customized topics can include:
- Keep the Bite Out of Your Community
- Water Conservation and Smart Gardening
- Mosquito Safety Training for Office and Field staff
- Presentations can range from 20 minutes - 1 hour long
2. Bite Back Program Presentation for Neighbors:
- Bite Back: Neighbors team up with mosquito control to build healthier, bite-free communities
- Presentations are 15-30 minutes long
3. SGV Mosquito Event Booth:
- 10x10 space (a big plus if organizers can supply canopy/table/chairs)
- Mosquitoes (Live and dead)
- Repellent education (specific outdoor events)
- Interactive displays showing where mosquitoes breed
- Cool facts about mosquitoes
- Giveaways!
4. Mosquito Repellent Zone:
*In High Demand for Summer/Fall Outdoor Events*
- Requires 10'x15' space (a 10'x10' canopy and 5'x10' open space for attendees to apply repellent)
- We supply ALL repellent for attendees to use
- Display live mosquitoes
- Repellent education (Do wristbands really work? What are some DEET-free alternatives?)
- Cool facts about mosquitoes
- Restriction: Must be an outdoor event
