Vector Inspector School Assembly Program

Teachers! We need your help! Schools in portions of the San Gabriel Valley are participating in a novel research project targeting the invasive Asian Tiger Mosquito.  Students will learn about mosquito biology, life cycles, and public health risks while assisting in an important mosquito surveillance project directly benefiting their community.  Would you like to get involved?  Contact us today!

The Fall 2012 Vector Inspector Program was a resounding success

Congratulations to all who participated!

This MAP shows the results of this effort: Participating schools and results of student samples and questionnaires are shown.  Many yards were surveyed and sampled in a very short span of time helping our staff instantly identify areas that need our immediate assistance.
